OPTIONAL EXTRAS FOR SOLTECH® 102, 106 & 202 SYSTEMS
Solent Technology offers a range of extras for use it's 102, 106 and 202 pleating systems. These are designed to enhance/assist the production of the many types of filter possible on these systems.
- Auxiliary Conveyor: An additional conveyor unit that synchronizes with the movement of the main conveyor unit to make pack handling easier and provide extra cooling time.
- Pneumatic Slitter Module: Provides a mounting for Slitter/Perforator Assemblies. Comes with air valves, manifold and pressure regulator.
- Pneumatic Slitter Assembly: For in-line slitting/edge-trimming of light glass media (H.E.P.A., etc.). These mount on the above module.
- Pneumatic Perforator Assembly: For in-line perforation of light glass media (H.E.P.A., etc.) to allow multiple filter elements to be made simultaneously - you simply break them apart once they've cooled.
- Paper Roll Mandrel: An additional mandrel to allow a roll to be loaded and positioned whilst the machine is running. Comes complete with two collets and brake gear.
- Software: The flexibility of the systems can be extended with our various software options, principally the stitching of the adhesive beads to: reduce adhesive consumption; reduce filter element weight; increase airflow & decrease pressure drop.
- Spares Kit: All the parts we recommend our customers keep on-site for maintenance etc.
- Hot Melt System: A SOLMELT® system comprising:
- Hot Melt Dispenser: Bulk melter selected to match production volume.
- Hoses: Flexible, heated hoses.
- Manifolds: Custom made, heated application heads incorporating valves integral to each of it's multiple nozzles for attachment to a SOLTECH® system.
- Guns: Single nozzle units for edge sealing, etc. Normally used with our Auxiliary Hot Melt units
- Hot Melt Adhesive: We can recommend adhesives suitable for use with these systems.
